Our education team offers programmed learning opportunities for children , youth and widows , enhancing participants' connections to the health of the rivers and lac Tanganyika in areas where we live , learn ,work and play

We help children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places ,together we can protect children and empower them for tomorrow. And help communities raise their own voices too ,education transforms lives and is at the heart of NURU association. Building a future where all children enjoy equal resources and opportunities in society and live free from violence ,discrimination , and exploitation

We assist all children orphaned victims of armed conflict , disasters regardless of their situation , and the urgency of needs is the only factor we consider when prioritizing relief efforts. The most vulnerable people include small children orphans , expectant mothers ,widows, seniors ,and people suffering from various illnesses. Youth , women , widows who have endured difficult ordeals often need crisis support ,especially when they have been forced into displacement for armed conflict in Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Our programmes support access to education, particularly for orphans ,vulnerable persons and young women. We support communities in education in Democratic Republic of the Congo where literacy rates are very high and access to education is limited with maximum focus on rural and disadvantaged communities.

Ensemble, nous pouvons les aider à surmonter des difficultés inimaginables et à espérer un avenir meilleur. Les enfants sont confrontés à des crises croissantes telles que les conflits armés et le problème de la faim dans le monde. Nous comptons sur le soutien de personnes attentionnées comme vous pour poursuivre nos efforts. Le changement mondial commence avec l'éducation des enfants, le développement des compétences d'alphabétisation et de l'habitude de lire dans les communautés à faible revenu, et en aidant les filles à acquérir les compétences nécessaires pour réussir à l'école et négocier les décisions clés de la vie.

Our first Mission

Nuru association has a mission to promote an environment in which OVC and youths are cared for supported , bodily, socially and with an emphasis on education , nutrition and social support to facilitate a meaningful life. To ease the suffering of disenfranchised and orphaned children ; promote holistic development and provide an enabling environment in which the children can reach their fullest potential, thrive and become , healthy , well-adjusted, productive members of their society

OUR VISION

Our main vision is to ensure equal provision support to all orphans and youth in the community. Nuru association envision a permanent systemic change with the child welfare system : allowing children without parents in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) the opportunity to grow up in a home environment with a stable family unit including siblings, surrogate parent , caregivers and strong community ties. Envision each child achieving their maximum potential and becoming productive members of society through integration within their families (groups of 8-12 children with a trained mother) and community in an environment of dignity and respect.
